Hospital at Home

The Challenge

Today, more patients are receiving medical care at home, rather than at the hospital or clinic. Our client, a global biopharmaceutical company, wanted to understand the patient and caregiver experience of receiving sterile-injectable treatments at home and other alternate sites of care, and identify appropriate interventions to improve this experience.

Our Solution

  • Developed a comprehensive set of screening and interview questions aimed at gaining insights into the experiences and journeys of patients and caregivers.

  • Managed patient/caregiver recruiting and selected candidates for interviews.

  • Conducted 1:1 interviews with 10 patients and 3 caregivers.

  • Managed the safety compliance process, including monitoring interviews for AE reports and logging results in the client database.

  • Synthesized a summary of interview insights with secondary research.

  • Recommended next steps for the client’s patient engagement strategy.

  • Devised and disseminated a poster that shared key insights from the study at the 2023 Global Hospital at Home Congress.
